On October 5th, 2017 The College in Communication and Public Relations (FCRP) will host, during the 2017 edition of the international conference Qualitative Research in Communication the panel Why Europe? Narratives and Counter-narratives of European Integration. The panel is organized in partnership with the ECREA Temporary Working Group Communication and the European Public Sphere and will be moderated by professor Alina Bârgăoanu, dean of FCRP. The discussion group will reunite papers of researchers from Romania and Portugal and will focus on exploring new theoretical and empirical frameworks that might explain how current communication practices, including media visibility and framing, public discourse, citizens’ perceptions and participation, influence the development of a European arena of communication.
